Pomodoro timer
A Pomodoro timer that grows with you.
Zen Timer: Grow with Orbilla is a Pomodoro and focus timer for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac. Every round you finish helps Orbilla, your focus companion, grow and rank up.
What is the Pomodoro Technique?
The Pomodoro Technique breaks work into short, focused rounds (traditionally 25 minutes) separated by short breaks, with a longer break after every few rounds. The fixed rhythm makes it easier to start, protects you from burnout and turns a big task into a series of small wins.
How Zen Timer does Pomodoro
- Automatic rest. When a round ends, Zen Timer moves you into your break, then waits with “Start next focus”.
- Long breaks built in. Set how many rounds come before a longer rest.
- Voice cues and gentle chimes. Counted in, counted out, with no harsh alarm.
- Even when your iPhone is locked. A live countdown in the Dynamic Island and on the Lock Screen, and StandBy alarms that ring even on silent (iOS 26 and later).
- Locked focus. Screen Time shields keep the apps you choose closed until the round ends.

More than 25 minutes
Flow counts up while you are in the zone, then gives you a break that is one fifth of your focus. HIIT runs work and recovery intervals that advance by themselves. There are six focus modes (Study, Reading, Journal, Meditation, Deep Focus and Workout), each with its own painted scene.
Every round helps Orbilla grow
Finished rounds move Orbilla up 8 ranks, from Star Cadet to Cosmic Marshal, and plant something new in your Zen Garden. Focus time also earns leaves for Orbilla’s wardrobe. Meet Orbilla →

Questions
How long is a Pomodoro in Zen Timer?
A classic round is 25 minutes of focus and a 5-minute break, with a longer break after every few rounds. You can change the focus length, break length and number of rounds for every mode.
Does Zen Timer start the break for me?
Yes. When a focus round ends, Zen Timer moves you into rest automatically, then waits with “Start next focus” so you begin the next round when you are ready.
What if I don’t want fixed 25-minute rounds?
Use Flow: the timer counts up while you are in the zone, then gives you a break that is one fifth of your focus time.
Is the Pomodoro timer free?
Yes. Zen Timer is free to start, including Study mode, voice cues, the Zen Garden and Orbilla’s ranks. Zen Plus unlocks every mode, scene and sound.
